Quiet book for Church

If anyone got a gospel art kit from Grandma Meacham I set by a 6 year old boy that was very content to sit there and look through the kit. His mom put the pictures in plastic sleeves and then in a 3 ring binder. A good family home evening project or while watching your favorite show.

Kylee Gets the Quilt

We have waited about 15 years to finish the baby quilt Kylee and Marae started with grandmother's help of course. I knew Kylee was sentimental so I moved and stored this started quilt through several of our moves and since she was the first of the 2 girls to get a baby girl the quilt goes to her. Georgia Meacham's first grandchild. I predict Georgia will be a fantastic grandmother at least the way she used to beg to hold every baby that graced the church in New Plymouth as a child and she was so good to my girls when they were little. We love you Georgia and are so happy for you to get this bundle of joy. The name was not yet picked out and she had a small leak in her lung but she was scheduled to come home today.

Newcomers invited to dinner

We had a nice surprise after we invited the new family to dinner. We stopped by their house to tell them where we lived and give them a time. David came out and said. You are having a special guest for dinner. I said who Santa Claus? He said " The Singing Mountain Man. It seems they had come down from Kooski, Idaho to help their daughter's family move. David ask him if he knew the singing Mountain Man. He said, "I am the Singing Mountain Man." He entertained us with a couple songs and one of the missionaries told us a cool story.
